The air ambulance was called to Gravesend following an incident this morning.
Witnesses say the helicopter circled twice overhead twice before landing at Gravesend Rugby Club, near the Guru Nanak Gurdwara.
Photographer Jason Arthur captured it hovering over the town at 9.30am.
It spent an hour on the ground before taking off at 10.30am.
A police spokesman said: "At around 9.30am officers attended a location near The Grove, Gravesend, to assist the South East Coast Ambulance Service with a medical incident."
The ambulance service has been asked for a comment.
