Appeal after handbag snatch

A HANDDBAG was snatched from a 20-year-old woman's hand while she was walking in a town centre.

Detectives say she was approached by a man in a hooded top at the rear of Marks and Spencer in Princes Street, Gravesend.

The man grabbed the bag and ran off towards the river with two other men.

Police in North Kent are appealing for information about the incident which happened on Thursday, January 12, between 6.35pm and 6.57pm.

The offender is described as white man, 5ft 6in tall, of small build. He was wearing a black hooded top and dark trousers.
