Police appeal after man found injured in Gravesend car park

A man was found injured in a Gravesend car park an hour after a late-night altercation.

The man in his 30s was discovered in Overcliffe – between Lennox Road and St James’ Avenue – at around 11pm on Friday, December 18.

He was taken to hospital and disclosed that an hour before he was found, he had been in an altercation with a man.

A 28-year-old man from Gravesend was arrested on suspicion of assault the next day and has since been released on bail until Tuesday, January 12.

Officers are keen to hear from any witnesses who may have information but are yet to come forward.

In particular, they would like dash cam footage from vehicles in the area between 10pm and 11pm.
