POLICE investigating a fatal crash in which an elderly woman died are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

The 86-year-old woman died in hospital after being in a collision with a lorry in Darnley Road, Gravesend.

The accident happened at about 11.20am on Friday. The woman, who lived in Longfield, was taken to the Dartford's Darent Valley Hospital where she died during the afternoon.
