Armed police called to Higham after man allegedly makes threats with a gun

Armed police were scrambled to a quiet village road after a man said he had been threatened with a gun.

A man known to the alleged victim was later arrested after police were called to Mulberry Rise in Higham at 8.53am yesterday.

They located his vehicle. No weapons were found inside.

The man, in his 30s, later attended a police station, where he was arrested.

He was later released without any further action taken.
