Award-winning cheese at farmer's market

THE next Gravesend farmer’s market has been moved to Friday, April 3, because of the town’s Good Friday Easter Pageant.

It will be the place to buy your St George goats cheese, a speciality of market regulars Nutknowle Farm.

They have been making this cheese for 25 years and St George has won BBC2’s Best British Goats Cheese award.

All the farmers and producers come to Gravesend from within a 30 mile radius and meet the special criteria for farmer’s markets.

The monthly market is held between 10am and 2pm in Windmill Street and High Street.
