Britain's fattest teenager in survival fight

A young girl dubbed Britain’s fattest teenager has lost an incredible 12 stone in just seven months.

Food addict Georgia Davies, 16, was told by doctors she could drop dead at any moment after her weight ballooned to a life-threatening 33 stone last year.

Scoffing down a daily intake of processed ready-meals, several sandwiches, crisps, chips, chocolate, cheese, sausages, and pasties, all washed down with litre bottles of fizzy drink, Georgia’s only chance of survival was to lose a whopping 20 stone.

In desperation last summer, 5ft 6in Georgia, who grew up in the Valley Drive area of Gravesend, checked into Wellspring Academy, the world’s leading weight-loss academy, in North Carolina, America.

Seven months later, the former Raynehurst Junior School pupil has astounded medics by shedding 12 stone.
