A number of mobile phones were stolen from a town centre phone shop early this morning.

Three raiders smashed through the front of EE, in New Road, Gravesend, at around 4am and made off with the hand sets.

Police were called at 4.10am and are continuing to conduct inquiries to establish the circumstances of the incident.

The shop has been closed today and the smashed panes are currently being repaired.
