A burglary suspect linked with offences in Kent has been arrested at Gatwick Airport after returning from Mexico.

A 21-year-old, who has been linked with burglaries in Sutton-at-Hone, Longfield, Vigo and Bexley, was stopped by officers as he disembarked a flight on Tuesday.

The offences are reported to have taken place in September.

The person, from Basildon, Essex, was arrested on suspicion of burglary and theft and has since been released pending further investigation.
