This well-loved one-eared bunny rabbit may be sporting a bonnie smile but it hides a world of hurt, after he was separated from his owner.

Helen Morgan was driving along the A226 Rochester Road, Gravesend, with her husband Tommy, when the grey rabbit fell from the window of the car in front, near the Harvester.

The couple did not manage to attract the driver’s attention, so pulled over to pick up the stuffed toy and took it home.

They have three boys aged four, two and three months who have been watching over it.

Mrs Morgan, 29, of Steele Avenue, Greenhithe, said: “My boys are really attached to their own toys, and I know if any of them lost theirs, they would be devastated – and so would I.”

The legal PA, who is on maternity leave, had been to Cascades with her family.

They were on their way home when they saw the toy fly out the back window of a black Volkswagen Golf.

The lost bunny is missing its owner

She added: “There must be a child out there somewhere who’s really missing their
toy.”
