A car was flipped on its side after an accident in Earl Road, Northfleet, in the early hours of this morning.

The incident took place at 4.50 and while it is not known exactly how many people were involved, all of the people made it out of the vehicle safely.

One person was treated by paramedics for injuries, but it is not yet known how serious the injuries were.

The road was temporarily closed due to the incident.

Police and Firefighters also attended the scene.
