Evidence presented by North Kent Police told of underage drinking and public nuisance offences at Gravesend's H20

A Gravesend nightclub has had its licence revoked.

A Gravesham Borough Council Licensing Panel unanmiously reached the decision to take away H20's licence following a two-day hearing at the civic centre in the town.

Evidence presented by North Kent Police told of underage drinking and public nuisance offences.

Cllr Mike Snelling, leader of the council, said: "The police reports and the video evidence presented at the hearing were a catalogue of shame and I applaud the decision by the councilors on the licensing panel."

Owner of the high street club, Mac Cheema, will have 21 days to appeal the decision.

If he chooses to do so he will be able to continue trading until a decision is made by magistrates.
