CCTV clue after machete raid at wine shop

POLICE have issued this CCTV image of the man suspected of robbing a wine store in a Kent town.

A man went into Threshers Wine Merchants in Parrock Road, Gravesend, at 1pm on Saturday.

He threatened the cashier with a machete before stealing £200 in cash and leaving the shop in the direction of Echo Square.

The offender is a white man, aged between 25 and 30, 6ft tall and of slim build. He was wearing a beige fleece, a blue padded jacket, dark blue jeans and black trainers.
