Boy injured after car crash in Valley Drive, Gravesend

Officers are appealing for witnesses after a collision in Gravesend.

Kent Police was called at 8.29am on Tuesday to a collision in Valley Drive involving a grey Citroen C1 and a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, thought to be a teenage boy, was taken to a King's College Hospital in London where he remains in a serious condition.

The road was closed until around 10am while emergency services dealt with the incident.

Witnesses to the collision or anyone with information is asked to contact PC Alan Shrubsole at Kent Police by calling 01474 366554 and quoting reference CAD 23-226.

Air ambulance and police also attended.
