A crash on the A2 at Gravesend has caused rush-hour delays.
The smash on the London-bound carriageway between the A227 Gravesend turn-off and the A2260 at Pepper Hill closed three lanes and caused tailbacks to the M2.
Early reports suggest the accident involved three cars and a motorbike.
The Highways Agency expected the road to return to normal by about 9.15am.
