Firefighters were called to put out a kitchen blaze last night.

A crew were called out to a two-storey home in Ash Road, Gravesend, shortly before 9pm.

When firefighters arrived at the scene they put on their breathing apparatus to enter the property and douse down the flames.

They then used a fan to clear the home of smoke.

The cause of the fire is not yet known, but no one was injured during the blaze.

Firefighters left the scene at about 9pm.
