BMW driver arrested after 100mph speed clocked on A2 near Gravesend

A driver has been arrested after allegedly speeding past a marked police car at 100mph on the A2.

The BMW driver reportedly tried to evade police after being signalled to pull over near Gravesend.

He eventually stopped but then is said to have failed to provide a breath sample to officers.

Following further investigation, officers also arrested him on suspicion of driving while disqualified, and possessing cannabis.

He was taken into custody for further questioning.
