A drug dealer has been jailed for more than four years after officers seized nearly a kilo of crack cocaine from his home.

Andrew Reece, 24, was witnessed driving suspiciously in Lennox Road, Gravesend, in February 2017.

Officers approached after seeing a person, who had been lingering in the area, walk to Reece’s vehicle then leave.

He was sentenced to four years and six months in prison at Maidstone Crown Court on Tuesday, February 13, after being found guilty of supplying class A drugs.

Investigating officer, PC Diane Mendl, said: “Reece travelled to Gravesend to peddle class A drugs and hoped to make a quick profit by exploiting vulnerable people.

“Drug dealing carries a significant sentence and Kent Police is always in the process of identifying, pursuing and detaining offenders.
