Thamesview School is offering the opportunity for Gravesham residents to recycle their waste electricals.

Over the next two weeks, people can recycle anything with a plug or a battery into a big pink skip.

The container will be in the main Thong Lane car park of the school until November 18.

Large appliances such as washing machines cannot be accepted but other larger items such as TVs or Lawnmowers can be taken if the school is informed in advance by calling 01474 566552.

The KCC managed project provides the container to only 10 schools in Kent.

If Thamesview collects the most items it will received £500 to spend with Kent County Supplies.
