Fleet are still waiting for their first win of the Blue Square Bet Premier season after being held by Forest Green Rovers at Stonebridge Road on Saturday afternoon.

The visitors started brightly and Charlie Griffin saw a shot saved by Preston Edwards early-on before Reece Styche sent a shot past the post.

However Ricky Shakes (pictured) replaced Giannoulis Fakinos on the half-hour as boss Liam Daish sought to provide more support to Calum Willock and within five minutes Shakes had opened the scoring.

The goal arrived from a dreadful mistake by keeper Matt Bulman, who failed to hold a high ball into the Rovers box by Joe Howe under pressure from Willock, with the ball breaking to Shakes to run it into the unguarded net.

Fleet almost doubled their advantage at the start of the second half but Michael West saw a shot blocked on the line amid a scarmble with Willock's follow-up tipped round the post by Bulman, who also denied another drive from Shakes before the hour.

However the visitors levelled 19 minutes from time when Styche was played in down the right before sliding the ball under Edwards and into the net.
