Michael West scored an injury-time equaliser for Ebbsfleet United against Luton Town on Tuesday night.

Liam Daish’s side were two goals behind in the Blue Square Premier game against high-flying Luton but claimed a share of the spoils thanks to a brace from West (pictured).

Daish was delighted with his side’s comeback against a side aiming for a return back into the Football League this season.

He said: "Obviously coming back from 2-0 down and getting a point out of it, it does feel a bit like a win.

"I’ve been waiting for a few performances like that and I just hope it wasn’t because we were playing Luton Town. We looked a lot more like our old selves, but we’ve got to carry that forward."

Amari Morgan-Smith had put Luton ahead before the break and James Dance doubled their advantage with 19 minutes left.

Five minutes later West halved the deficit and in the third minute of stoppage time the same player buried Joe Howe’s cross.

Meanwhile Fleet's Ricky Shakes was on target for Guyana as they drew 1-1 in Bermuda in CONCACAF Group B.

Shakes came off the bench to head home a cross from Kayode McKinnon nine minutes from time to cancel out the hosts' 72nd minute opener and make it 10 points from four games for the table-toppers.
