Ebbsfleet could include a number of new signings in their team to face Lincoln at Stonebridge Road on Saturday.

Manager Liam Daish (pictured) has spent this week in discussions with transfer targets following the opening of the January transfer window.

Having terminated Patrick Ada’s contract last month, the Fleet saw another centre-back, Phil Walsh, limp out of Tuesday’s 2-2 draw with rivals Dartford.

Daish said: "I was hoping to get someone in (for the Dartford game) but we couldn’t sort it out. Hopefully we’ll get at least one player in. The timing wasn’t right so we’ll hopefully get it done in the next couple of days.

"It’s about shuffling the pack, getting more quality in there and freshening things up."

The visit of Lincoln offers Ebbsfleet the chance to claw their way closer to safety in Blue Square Bet Premier and build on their New Year’s Day derby fightback, when they responded from being 2-0 down against Dartford to earn a point.
