Ebbsfleet’s coffers have received a much-needed double boost with two five-figure sums.

The first windfall came in the form of a compensation package for Michael West (pictured), following his move to League 1 side Crewe, while Fleet will also benefit from former defender Michael Bostwick’s big-money move from Stevenage to Peterborough.

Ebbsfleet have a 15 per cent sell-on fee for Bostwick, who is reported to have moved to London Road for a significant six-figure sum.

Boss Liam Daish said: "I’d like to think I would get some of the money to spend on the squad but there might be a bit of queue for it.

"We sold Bossy to Stevenage for £5,000 and a 15% sell-on fee and are satisfied with what we got for Westy and there might be another pay day on him down the line."
