THIS is the wasted and troubled face of a 36-year-old former foster mum who has been jailed for drug dealing.

Drug-addicted Kim Albone, from Pelham Road, Gravesend, once placed in a position of trust to care for abandoned or vulnerable children, was caught by undercover police acting as a runner for a 17-year-old dealer.

She was among five Kent dealers sentenced to a total of 12 years at Maidstone Crown Court.

Jailing Albone for two years and three months, Judge Jeremy Carey said: "Class A drugs are highly addictive and will lead to extensive criminality because people will do anything to get them."

Albone was not an approved Kent County Council carer and could have been working for an independent agency.
