Crash in Crooked Lane, Gravesend, leaves female passenger fighting for life

A woman is in a serious condition after a motorcycle crash in Gravesend.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident in Crooked Lane at 3.20am today.

The rider of the black KTM off-road motorbike lost control and both he and his pillion passenger were thrown from the vehicle.

The 23-year-old rider from Gravesend was taken to a Kent hospital with minor injuries whilst the 33-year-old female passenger also from Gravesend was taken to a London hospital with life-threatening injuries.

It has been confirmed that the woman is currently in a serious but stable condition in hospital.

Officers from the Serious Collision (SCIU) investigation Unit are investigating the circumstances of the collision and would like to speak to anyone who may have seen the motorbike just before the collision.
