Four men threaten and beat pensioners during horrific ordeal in their home

Three elderly people were subjected to a terrifying 30-minute ordeal during a burglary by four men at their home.

The horrific attack in Pelham Road South, Gravesend, happened last Friday, September 9, at about 8.15pm but police have just released details of what they are describing as an "aggravated burglary".

Officers are appealing to anyone with information to come forward after screwdrivers were held against two of the victims at their property.

A third victim was reportedly pulled from her bed and hit with her own walking stick.

Four young men with their faces covered are reported to have smashed a window to gain entry to the property before carrying out a search and stealing cash, jewellery and personal documents.

None of the victims, who are in their 70s and 80s, were seriously hurt.
