Gemma Arterton grandmother killed herself: inquest

The grandmother of movie actress Gemma Arterton took her own life, an inquest has heard.

Helen Sarfas, 69, was discovered fatally injured at her home in Beechings Way, Gillingham in January this year.

The Maidstone hearing was told she'd been suffering from depression for some time.

Movie star Gemma, star of hit film Tamara Drewe, was born in Gravesend.

She took a course at Dartford's Miskin Theatre before going to Rada, and has also appeared as MI6 agent Strawberry Fields in the James Bond movie Quantum of Solace.
