A host of famous faces leapt from the pages of popular children’s books and into the classroom at Riverview Infant School.

Pupils displayed their affection for the likes of The BFG and The Gruffalo by dressing up for Book Week, a celebration of some of the world’s most cherished stories.

L/R, Dragons, Jacob 6, Logan 6, Lily 6, Maddie 7.

Also making an appearance were The Incredible Hulk, Batman, Captain Hook, Alice in Wonderland and a crew of – thankfully – non-fire breathing dragons.

Children across Kent will be further immersing themselves in their favourite books ahead of World Book Day on March 3.
