A police helicopter and several police cars were called out to a disturbance in the town centre last night.

The incident is believed to have happened near The Man of Kent pub in Wrotham Road, Gravesend.

A police spokesman said: "A disturbance happened at a premises. The call came in at 9.10pm as a result of which two persons have been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and obstructing police."
