Inquest opens into death of Leanna Jane Culver after crash in Henhurst Road, Cobham, near Gravesend

An inquest has opened into the death of a young woman who died in a crash in a country lane in Cobham.

Leanna Jane Culver was involved in the accident in Henhurst Road last month.

The 20-year-old was a passenger in a blue Renault Clio when it crashed into a telegraph pole.

The 26-year-old man who was driving the car was arrested and bailed until a date in June.

Today's hearing was told Leanna was born in Greenwich but was living in Nursery Grove, Gravesend, when she died.

Her sister Chloe Culver identified her to police.

She was the passenger in a car when the vehicle collided with a telegraph pole. She died from head injuries.

Flowers were left at the crash scene

The driver escaped with minor head injuries.

A date for the full inquest has not yet been set.

Floral tributes and heartfelt messages were left at the scene in the days following the tragedy.
