A MAISONETTE was left damaged by smoke after a fire in a Gravesend home.

Fire fighters had to be called to the house in Winchester Crescent at 2.04pm on Friday, December 5, after cooking was left unattended on the stove.

Nobody was injured but the flat was left damaged by smoke.
