Liam Daish says he will do his best to keep his promotion-winning Ebbsfleet squad together for next season.

Sunday's 4-2 victory over Farnborough in the Blue Square Bet South play-off final ensured Fleet returned to the premier division at the first time of asking.

Daish said: "I will try my best to do that (keep the squad together). It’s down to the club and the people behind the scenes.

"I am confident we will because we have got something special in the dressing room and this will only increase that.

"The players have been incredible for me, with their willingness to bounce back from adversity and we have also had our doubters."
