Officers said a foot chase through an aggregates yard was like a scene from a TV drama, following a pursuit last night.

Kent Police's roads unit said the chase began when a moped failed to stop in Gravesend, and ended on an industrial site.

They added on Twitter: "Following a pursuit, decamp and a foot chase through an aggregates yard (like a scene out of The Bill), both rider and pillion were detained. The rider was dealt with for driving offences."

Kent Police have been approached for more information.
