A man had liquid thrown in his face and his hat stolen by two men on a moped.

The robbery happened in Hall Road, Northfleet, near the girls' school between 7pm and 7.20pm last night.

The victim, who had been walking along the road at the time, reported irritation to his skin following the attack and was taken to hospital as a precaution.
