Delays on A2 near Cobham while overturned lorry is recovered

It took just under 12 hours to clear an overturned lorry on the A2.
The incident happened at around 10.30pm on the London bound carriageway of the A2 near Cobham.
Two lanes of the road had to be closed so recovery work could be carried out.
At 10.15am Highways England confirmed the vehicle had been recovered and all lanes were open.
They thanked drivers for their patience.
Police were called at 10.39pm and closed a lane to ensure public safety. No serious injuries were reported and officers left the recovery effort to Highways England shortly after.
