Accident caused nine mile queues on A2 at Bean Interchange

An accident on the A2 caused more than nine miles of queues.

The London bound carriageway had been partially blocked after an incident at the B255 Bean Interchange.

It was taking driver more than an hour to get through and congestion is back to Junction 1 for Strood.

Delays were already more than an hour long due to delays from the Dartford Tunnel on the M25.

The congestion was cleared just after 1.15pm.
