Two vans and a car crash on A2 between Gravesend and Southfleet

Drivers face long queues after two vans and a car crashed this morning.

The collision happened on A2 London-bound carriageway between A227 Wrotham Road, in Gravesend, and B262, in Southfleet at about 7.15am.

The crash has caused two of the four A2 lanes to close, resulting in delays of 40 minutes.

There were several miles of queuing traffic, as well as congestion to M2 J1, in Strood.

No injuries have been reported and all lanes have now reopened.
