Person taken to hospital after A2 crash

A person was taken to hospital following a motorway crash between a lorry and a car.
It happened this morning at 7.10am on the A2 coastbound carriageway near the slip road for Heaver Court Road, Gravesend.
Two ambulances and police were on the scene.
The person taken to Medway Maritime Hospital by ambulance as a precaution and traffic was stopped for around 15 minutes while the emergency services dealt with the incident.
