A man has denied stirring up hatred by delivering anti-homosexual leaflets in Gravesend town centre.

IT consultant Raj Bhachoo, 43, was arrested outside Tesco in New Road on Saturday, January 21.

He denied one charge of displaying threatening material to stir up sexual orientation hatred when he appeared at Dartford Magistrates Court earlier today.

Chairman of the bench Timothy Lewry released Bhachoo, of Oronsay Road, Leicester, on bail on condition that he stays at least 100 metres away from all Tesco premises, car parks and warehouses.
