Man arrested with fraud after lottery scam in Gravesend

A man has been arrested after detectives launched an investigation into a lottery scam.

Herioto Marquz, of no fixed address, was detained on Monday, October 1, in relation to man in Trinity Road, Gravesend, being a victim.

The 40-year-old was charged the next day with one count of fraud, one of driving without a license or insurance and one count of resisting a constable.

A man was arrested and will appear at Maidstone Crown Court this month. Stock picture.

The victim was allegedly scammed on Tuesday, May 29.

Marquz appeared at Medway Magistrates' Court yesterday (October 4) and was remanded in custody.

He will appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Wednesday, October 31.
