Man released on bail after police helicopter called following suspected burglary in Palmer Avenue, Gravesend

A man has been released on bail following a police helicopter manhunt.

Officers attended a property thought to have been burgled in Palmer Avenue, Gravesend, at 10.24am yesterday.

His bail date is December 5

Police carried out a search of the area, with assistance provided by the National Police Air Service.

A 31-year-old man from Gravesend was arrested on suspicion of burglary and taken into custody.

He has been released on bail until December 5 while inquiries continue, a police spokesman confirmed.
