Gravesend man charged with multiple burglary-related offences in Windsor Drive

A man accused of burgling a home has been charged with the offence and multiple attempted burglaries in the same area.

Craig Graham is reported to have taken a car and a small amount of money from a home in Windsor Drive, Gravesend on the night of 3 and 4 March 2020.

Tools were also reported to have been taken from a car parked in Windsor Drive.

On the same evening a further 11 attempted burglaries took place in the local area.

Yesterday officers moved to detain the suspect on suspicion of the offences.

The 33-year-old, of Poplar Avenue, Gravesend, has since been charged with one count of burglary and 11 counts of attempted burglary,

A charge was also made for taking a motor vehicle without consent and theft from a motor vehicle.

He has been remanded in custody to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 11 March.
