A 31-year-old is due in court today charged with robbery and assault.

On Saturday Clive Edwards, of Medhurst Gardens, was charged with the robbery of a vehicle and items within it.

He was also charged with assault, driving with no insurance and driving without an appropriate licence.

All charges relate to an incident in Gravesend on Thursday.

Edwards is currently in police custody.
