Man due in court on burglary charge in Gravesend and Sheerness

A Sheppey man is due to face magistrates on Monday morning in connection with an incident on the Island and a burglary in Gravesend.

Police were called after 9.10pm on Friday to a report of an attempted burglary in progress in Jefferson Road, Sheerness.

Officers attended the scene and shortly after arrested and charged Lee Fideghelli, 36, of Penny Cress Road in Minster, with attempt burglary dwelling.

Maxwell appeared before magistrates in Medway.

Fideghelli was also charged with burglary dwelling in connection with an in incident in Gravesend.

It was reported on May 1 that jewellery worth £6,150 was missing from a property in Dennis Road.

He has been remanded in custody to appear at Medway Magistrates Court.
