Man electrocuted in roadside accident

Kent Air Ambulance

A 42-year-old man has been taken to hospital after suffering an electric shock.

The accident happened in Gravesend on Monday morning during heat wave temperatures and the Kent Air Ambulance was also called to the scene.

The man had been digging up a road and had struck cables, resulting in flash burns to his legs and upper body.
