Man hunted after PC is stabbed

A YOUNG man who stabbed a policeman during an apparent bungled burglary attempt is being sought by Kent Police.

PC Christopher Sims was injured while preventing two men from breaking into St John's Catholic School in Rochester Road, Gravesend. He suffered a serious wound to his arm.

The offender is described as white and thought to be aged between 18-20. He was wearing a chunky black hooded top that had the logo of 'Ecko Unltd' on it.

The incident happened at around 2.40am on Tuesday, February 27.
