A man has been taken to hospital and another arrested after a suspected CS gas attack at a property in Shorne.

Police, ambulance crews and firefighters were called out to Pear Tree Lane, in Shorne, at about 2.30am this morning after a fight broke out between several people at an address there.

It is understood a disturbance broke out at the property, a multiple-occupancy house, and the emergency services were called as it was originally though the man had suffered injuries from an acid attack.
