Man in serious condition after Gravesend crash

A man is in hospital in a serious condition following a road crash in Gravesend.

The 48-year-old pedestrian, who police say is local, suffered serious head injuries when he was hit by a car in Pelham Road near to the junction with Granville Road.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash, which happened just before 6.30pm on Monday, February 14.

The man, who was hit by a blue Audi driven by a woman, is Asian and was wearing black tracksuit trousers, a grey jumper, brown fleece top and black shoes.

No arrests have been made.
