A 27 year old man is set to face magistrates next month in connection with a burglary in Gravesend.

Officers investigating a burglary at a utilities company in Queens Farm Road between December 21 and 23 in which about £20,000 of power tools and machinery were reported stolen, made an arrest on Monday in connection with the incident.

A vehicle was stopped in Sun Lane, Gravesend, and a search carried out in which a quantity of tools and machinery were seized.

Tom Saunders, of Shamrock Road in Gravesend, was charged with handling stolen goods and has been bailed to appear at Dartford Magistrates’ Court on January 23.
