Three masked men tried to steal two cash machines from a supermarket.

The trio targeted Morrison’s in Coldharbour Road, Northfleet, but fled empty-handed.

Two ATMs were reportedly tampered with and an adjoining room broken into.

Officers have reviewed CCTV footage that shows three men approach the scene with their faces covered and wearing dark clothing.

They then leave in a light-coloured car, possibly a Volkswagen Golf.

Nothing was reported stolen in the incident, which happened between 2.40am and 3.05am on Sunday, August 21.
